About the game
After months of sailing, you’ve finally made it to Emerald Valley: A desertic landscape filled with mystery and treasure. Every adventurer’s dream
Your mission is to venture into the valley, fill your hands with as much treasure as possible, and come back to your ship in under 25 turns. But not all locations will be easy to access; and some of them will take twice as many turns to get through. Enemies will also hinder your pursuit for treasure, by stealing your hard-earned rewards and taking your turns as well!
You can gain additional turns by seeking temporary refuge in Turquoise City. But only if the locals still like you. And what pieces of treasure are you willing to sacrifice for that ?
After a maximum of five days (40 turns) your ship will depart and leave you behind. Make sure to go back to Port Emerald before it’s too late ! If you take longer than four days (36 turns), your ship’s captain will try to duel you for your fortune.
The world is filled with peril, mystery and adventures to be had: Defeat enemies, conquer the landscape, and delve into monster-riddled dungeons to become the richest adventurer of all!
Add flavor to your game by bullet-journaling and/or roleplaying your own story; Or play it as a tactical journey where every choice can increase or hinder your chances to get rich quick. Beat your own score, beat your friend's scores, beat your mom's scores! Who knows! But most importantly: Have fun!

I was looking for a fun looking RPG to introduce a friend to the genre - I'm excited to give them Emerald Valley! It's such a pretty design and cool concept!

Looks pretty sweet! Boring question - but what are the chances of a low-ink version? Just losing the dark backgrounds would be nice...
Thank you! I'm so glad you think so :) And you're actually in luck! I just uploaded a more printer-friendly version, with light backgrounds instead of dark! (But, for extra ink-saving, I still recommend printing in grayscale lol!)
